Armor Equipment is a full-service distributor and maintenance center for private and municipal refuse and street sweeper customers. Located in St. Louis since 1970, Armor distributes a full line of new and used equipment, including Heil refuse trucks, Tymco street sweepers, Sewer Equipment Trucks and Trailer Jetters, ODB Xtreme Vac trash / debris & leaf collection units, containers and compactors. The parts department is stocked with new OEM and aftermarket parts for all types of vehicles.

Armor Equipment has gained recognition as a leader in the industry because of its dedication to high quality standards.

Armor has partnered with The BackStoppers® Organization. This organization provides ongoing needed financial assistance and support to the spouses and dependent children of all police officers, firefighters and volunteer firefighters, and publicly funded paramedics and EMTs in our coverage area who have lost their lives in the line of duty, or who suffered a catastrophic injury performing their duty. We enjoy providing support to the people we serve, and our community.

In July 2024 Armor Equipment, an MH Equipment Company, announced plans to consolidate with Mid-Iowa Solid Waste Equipment Co of Johnston, Iowa. The businesses share similar product and service offerings. The partnership with Mid-Iowa expands the footprint to include Iowa and Nebraska, a territory Mid-Iowa has serviced since 1975. The Mid-Iowa location remains a full-service location and has since adopted the Armor Equipment name.
